【英語】COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shots

The COVID-19 booster shots will start.

The Voucher for a booster shot will be sent out to those who are ages 18 years or older and completed two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination. When you receive your vaccination voucher, please make an appointment.

One dose of the vaccination will be administered, and it is free of charge.

 

The schedule to send out a vaccination voucher has been changed. Please see below for the new schedule.
You can get a booster shot more than 6 months after completing two doses of vaccination.

Required when getting the vaccination.

Please fill out the form and bring it to the vaccination site on the day of vaccination without detaching the left side.

The right side is the document certifies that you are vaccinated.  Please keep it in a safe place after your vaccination has been completed.

How to make an appointment

1. Making appointments online（available 24 hours）

• Access the vaccination website

2. Making appointments by telephone

   9am～5pm (weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays)
   ※English, Portugal, Spanish speakers are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
    
3. Special appointment desk（City hall, Nambu-kominkan, Gakuden-Fureai Center）
   1st and 3rd Fridays and Saturdays  10am~4pm
   You can make an appointment in person at the desk.
   ※No interpreter available.
   ※Please bring your Preliminary examination slip and vaccination voucher.

Notes

• You cannot get other vaccinations for two weeks before and after your vaccination for the COVID-19.
• There is no interpreter at a group vaccination site.  Please come with someone who speaks Japanese.  One interpreter and one caregiver are allowed to accompany you.
