Ishiage Festival is the summer festival at Sengen Shrine at the foot of Mt. Owari-Fuji in the southern part of Inuyama city.
The festival's origin is said to be a folk tale about height comparison between Mt. Owari-Fuji and its southern neighbor Mt. Hongu. The night festival is well-known for its magnificence and is designated one of the three famous festivals of the Owari region.
